The College and Sports Academy (CSA) is a joint program between MAN, the North Sacramento Youth Soccer League, North Sacramento Basketball, Grant Little League and Sacramento Sports Center (SSC). Mutual Assistance Network (MAN) is the CSA coordinator.
Members of the CSA and are able to participate in the following activities:
- After school program during the school year. Program will operate Monday - Friday, 3pm to 6pm. Activities: academic assistance, homework, fitness, nutrition, college preparation and recreation sports. Activities during school breaks (Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring and Summer)
- Sports clinics
- Play in the soccer, basketball or baseball leagues
- Health and fitness screenings and workshops
- Parent workshops
The cost for the CSA for the 2016-2017 school year, per child:
• $80 one sport
• $100 for all three sports (soccer, basketball and baseball)
Families can break payments into monthly installments payable at the Firehouse Community Center, located at 810 Grand Avenue. Payment is due by the fifth business day of each month. MAN will begin to accept payments in the beginning of October. MAN will contact families to collect payment and/or establish a payment plan.
