Housing Development

Quality housing and home ownership is a fundamental part of neighborhood development.  Mutual Assistance Network proudly plays an active role in housing development by being a crucial community partner.  Through the developments, Mutual Assistance Network is able to pay for: Neighborhood Liaisons, which provide information and outreach to neighborhood groups, schools, and associations; High School Neighborhood Improvement Specialists, which are students that identify blight and work with the city to beautify the neighborhood; Home ownership workshops and preparation, to make sure local residents have the knowledge and resources to purchase a home in their neighborhood.

Heritage (Del Paso Nuevo Phase 5)

Heritage at Del Paso Nuevo is a 91 new home development that is a collaboration between Pacific Housing Inc. (the developer), Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, and the City of Sacramento, and targets an increase in home ownership rates through affordable housing (minimum 51% or 46 houses).  Housing prices range from $230,000 and $290,000, and are built on previously vacant land that has sat as an eyesore for over 20 years. Del Paso Nuevo Phase 6

The newest development in Del Paso Heights, Del Paso Nuevo Phase 6 is a 72 home development that was approved on December 6, 2016 by the Sacramento City Council.  In partnership with Del Paso Homes, Inc, Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, and the city of Sacramento, Phase 6 is next to Heritage and is also targets an increase in home ownership rates through affordable housing (minimum of 36 houses).
