Flin Oshun

Flin Oshun is an advocate for equity and social change for vulnerable populations on a micro and mezzo level, which she believes will result in macro change. Her passions include therapy, mental health, and wellness on a holistic level. She believes that through infusing her work with therapeutic qualities, she is elevating community wellness by sparking the interest and desire to heal through therapy. Her role as the Program Manager is to oversee and provide support to both the Home Visitation and The Black Infant Health programs. Flin takes great pride in knowing she is advocating for reducing the maternal mortality rates of African American women in Sacramento county. She is also grateful for her ability to lead her team in providing insightful resources to parents they serve because she has come to realize, adulthood does not come with a manual.

Flin’s goal is to uplift the community through helping Black mothers survive their delivery of healthy happy babies while also ensuring parents are a part of a community that provides tangible resources to support their families and themselves.
